Horse Girth, also called a cinch in western riding, is a very crucial piece of equipment used in horse riding. Girth is used to keep the saddle in place while riding. They have buckles on the sides by which it gets fastened to the billet straps of the english saddle, preventing the saddle from slipping off the horse.
There are many types of english girths used in horse riding disciplines, such as dressage girths, eventing girths and jumping girths. Bridles & Reins is the place for English Riders to get their Leather Girths.
- Regular Girths
- Stud Guard Girths or Belly Guard Girths
All the girths in our catalogue are overlay girths, and within these, there are 2 types of girths based on size, long girths or short girths, for each type of discipline.
Dressage girths, used in dressage, are generally shorter in size than usual girths.
Belly Guard or Stud Guard Girths are used in hunters and jumpers and prevent the horse's belly from being stabbed by horseshoe studs.
You get to choose from 3 different elastic options and 3 types of leather colours: Black, Havana (Choco Brown) & Oak Brown (Reddish Brown). Riders also have the option to choose between Leather Padding or Sheepskin Padding fleece girths.
All our girths are designed to keep the comfort of both the rider and horse. This is why all Exion Girths provide better shoulder relief than other girths in the equestrian community.
