The round raised, crank noseband features thick padding, for even pressure distribution. This generous padding and secure crank design help stabilize the bridle while keeping your horse comfortable, especially under the added complexity of a double bridle setup, ensuring the double bridle purpose is fulfilled at the same time.

Although the wide, round raised look is most commonly associated with dressage double bridles, it is equally suitable for use in jumping double bridles. Beyond double bridle configurations, this versatile crank noseband can also be paired with standard snaffle bridles, making it compatible with nearly all types of bridles in our collection.

Each stitch is precisely sewn and counts up to 10 to 12 stitches per inch with heavy-duty cotton threads that are trimmed to impart a clean and finished looks in order to retain optimum durability and beauty. Smoothly finished and curved with special polish & lacquered on premium quality buckles for long-lasting results.

    Nice quality for the price. I ordered a Cob size and it fits my mare (who is precisely between pony and horse size) perfectly. One of the keeper is a bit too small so it’s pretty hard to put the excess strap though. But that is most likely a manufacturing error and with time it should stretch out. The leather is soft and the nose band has plenty of cushion. Overall I would recommend if you want to upgrade your bridle but don’t want to break the bank.

    Will this noseband fit a schockmole single bridle meaning not a double bridle but single?

    Thank you for your question! This noseband should fit any bridle that has a 1/2" wide crownpiece strap.

    In most cases, the difference between a double bridle and a single bridle is simply that a double bridle uses two pairs of cheekpieces. The noseband itself is usually not affected by this, so double bridle nosebands are generally compatible with single bridles. Even our noseband is designed to be compatible with our single bridles.
