The Exion Hercules Hunter Bridle features a straight padded mono-crown headpiece designed especially for hunters. True to traditional hunter tack aesthetics, it avoids excessive shaping or embellishment, maintaining a clean and sophisticated profile. Subtle ear cutouts are carefully integrated without altering the crown’s straight silhouette, ensuring both comfort and the classic hunter look.
>BROWBAND
The straight padded browband is complemented by raised fancy stitching, a hallmark of fine hunt bridles. This understated yet elegant detail enhances the overall design while highlighting the craftsmanship and balance hunters appreciate in the show ring.
>NOSEBAND
The straight padded noseband mirrors the browband’s raised fancy stitching, completing the bridle’s signature hunter aesthetic. The 1¼" wide noseband is perfectly proportioned, not too wide, not too narrow, to flatter a variety of head shapes. The even padding ensures consistent pressure distribution while maintaining the elegant hunter bridle style, ideal for both everyday schooling and the show ring.
>REINS
Included with the bridle are 5/8" wide laced reins, also known as braided reins, favoured by hunter riders for their secure grip and classic appearance. A unique feature of these reins is the detachable martingale stoppers, giving you the flexibility to use the same bridle for hunter classes or jumping—remove it for the hunter ring or attach it back for training and jumping sessions.
>HARDWARE
Both the reins and cheekpieces use hook stud fastenings, offering a neat, seamless look. Like all Exion bridles, the hunting bridle is finished with premium stainless steel hardware for long-lasting durability and a polished shine.

Got this bridle for Thermal, it came and it’s perfect. It’s a little stiff but still padded in most areas and will soften up with either oil or thick conditioner. Love these bridles. This is my 4th bridle from Bridles and Reins because I love the quality and fit.

Beautiful bridle, really happy everything except the reins did have some mold growing on them which was a little disappointing. Was able to clean it off. Otherwise the bridle fits well, bought an oversize for my warmblood and it fits true to size.

These are great training bridle and will even work as a show bridle if needed. This is my third one now between my four horses.
One of the straps that secures the throat latch was broken when received. It wasn't sewn in.
