To measure your horse reins, you need to begin from the hole (A1) where the reins begin when assembled to the other end (A2) of the reins where the bit is attached, as shown in the image below.

Almost all of our reins are 5/8" wide except the curb reins, which are 4/8" wide. You can also get them customised to be thinner or wider according to your liking.

My WB mare has a shorter neck so it was great to be able to get nice reins in pony size. True to size, I love these reins so much. I got the English leather and the quality seems good but I can’t compare them to the other types.

My favorite reins of all time!

I seriously can't believe how fantastic these reins turned out to be...especially for the price. I ride dressage on a large pony and my reins always seem to creep away on me. I've tried a bunch of different reins and love the rubber-lined ones but I really like stops to keep my hands even and really prevent slipping. These reins fit every requirement I have. There is no slip. The stops are closer together than most reins so for the first time ever they are actually in the right place and not totally useless! The leather was much much better quality than I was expecting for the price. The contrast stitching looks fantastic and they seem really nicely put together. I was so impressed I just ordered a bridle from them and got a second set of the reins I love for when my other set wears out. I don't want to risk them not being made anymore when I need them so now I have a backup! So glad to have found this company and looking forward to my new bridle...hoping it's as nice as these reins!
